For ten years, the competition has recognized outstanding Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality projects distinguished by innovation, creative excellence, and technological quality.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"631\">In 2026, XRC celebrates its 10th edition.<br data-start=\"469\" data-end=\"472\" \/>Over the past decade, more than 800 projects have been submitted and over 70 have been awarded \u2014 a strong testament to the innovative power of the XR industry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"893\">This year once again, companies, studios, start-ups, and individuals have the opportunity to bring their ideas and products to the main stage. An independent, interdisciplinary jury evaluates all submissions and selects the winners in the following categories:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"1539\">\n<li data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"982\">\n<p data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"982\"><strong data-start=\"897\" data-end=\"926\">Interactive Entertainment<\/strong> \u2013 Captivating XR experiences with innovative gameplay<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1083\">\n<p data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1083\"><strong data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1009\">Interactive Business<\/strong> \u2013 XR solutions enabling new business models and creating economic value<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1163\">\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1163\"><strong data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1111\">Interactive Education<\/strong> \u2013 Immersive applications with a pedagogical focus<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1235\">\n<p data-start=\"1166\" data-end=\"1235\"><strong data-start=\"1166\" data-end=\"1182\">Young Talent<\/strong> \u2013 Emerging projects by students and young creators<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1341\">\n<p data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1341\"><strong data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1259\">Best Installation<\/strong> \u2013 XR projects combined with physical installations to create unique experiences<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1410\">\n<p data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1410\"><strong data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1357\">Zeitgeist<\/strong> \u2013 Applications addressing socially relevant topics<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1411\" data-end=\"1491\">\n<p data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1491\"><strong data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1441\">International Production<\/strong> \u2013 Outstanding XR projects from around the world<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1492\" data-end=\"1539\">\n<p data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1539\"><strong data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1513\">Community Award<\/strong> \u2013 Decided by the public<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1778\">Winners receive not only what may be the most beautiful trophy in the XR world, but in most categories also prize money in recognition of their achievements.<br data-start=\"1698\" data-end=\"1701\" \/>(The Community Award and Best Installation are not endowed with prize money.)<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1780\" data-end=\"1990\">The award ceremony will take place on November 18, 2026, as part of the nextReality.festival in Hamburg\u2019s Speicherstadt.
