The game “Walk atop a Skyscraper” deals with the question of where the boundary between virtual and real reality lies. How real can virtual space appear and how does the perception of the physical world change through VR glasses?
\nThe goal of “Walk atop a Skyscraper” is very simple: to get from A to B in a room.
\nIn the real world, all you have to do is overcome a few flat obstacles. But when you put on the virtual reality glasses, the physical world merges with the virtual world and the path becomes a test of skill and courage.
\nThe simple structure of the course seems unspectacular at first, but in the game the board on which you balance suddenly becomes the arm of a crane at a dizzying height. Sound and wind effects enhance the immersion, so that you forget the reality of standing on safe ground at all times.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″]\t\t

For this mixed reality hybrid format we realized the visualization of the new Elbbr\u00fccken stop together with Hamburger Hochbahn AG, Saint Elmo’s and nhbNEXT GmbH. In a playful way, the leading architect guides us through the imposing building and goes into the individual structural details of the new stop. The station, which will initially function as a terminus, will not open until the end of 2018, but you can already take a look at it now.
